Connect Core CRM Pro with Microsoft Outlook
If you use Microsoft Outlook, Core CRM Pro includes a pre-built integration for working with your contacts and calendar events through the Outlook Manipulator plug-in.
You can create or update a contact in Core CRM Pro and push the information to Outlook when you are ready. Calendar events work in a similar way, allowing you to create and update appointments from Core while keeping that information available in Outlook.
You also have flexibility in how the Outlook integration is deployed. You can use Outlook Manipulator locally with classic Outlook for Windows or connect directly to your Microsoft 365 data without requiring Outlook to be open.
If Core CRM Pro is hosted on FileMaker Server, you can also run Outlook Manipulator server-side. This centralizes the plug-in on the server instead of requiring it to be installed on every user’s computer.
For a team using a hosted FileMaker solution, these options can make it easier to provide consistent access to your Outlook integration while reducing the number of individual computers you need to configure.
Connect Core CRM Pro with QuickBooks Online
Core CRM Pro also includes a pre-built integration with QuickBooks Online using the FM Books Connector Online plug-in. This lets you manage much of your customer and sales activity in Core while keeping your accounting information in QuickBooks Online.
When you first connect the two systems, you can bring your existing customers and vendors from QuickBooks Online into Core CRM Pro. From there, you can add and update those contacts in Core and push the changes to QuickBooks. Items and tax rates also pull from QuickBooks Online, giving you a clear source for that accounting information.
You can create invoices in Core CRM Pro and push them to QuickBooks Online with their customer, line item, and tax information. As payments are recorded in QuickBooks, you can pull the updated balances back into Core individually or in batches from the Dashboard. This gives you access to current invoice information from your CRM without requiring your team to manage payments in two different places.
The latest release adds another useful connection between the two systems. After an invoice is created in QuickBooks Online, you can pull its payment link back into the corresponding invoice in Core CRM Pro. You can then access that link directly from the CRM when you need to reference it or provide it to a customer.
The QuickBooks Online integration can also run server-side when Core CRM Pro is hosted on FileMaker Server.
