Q: Why is there a delay once the print option is selected?

The Change Printer switches the printer within milliseconds, and depending upon speed of your computer or the speed of the network, a brief pause may be needed in your script in order to allow the computer to "understand" that the printer has been changed. Within your script, after you have called the Change Printer to switch the printer, try inserting a 2 or 3 second pause before continuing the rest of the script (you may need to try various pause lengths).


Q: Will this plug-in work in a Citrix or Terminal Server Environment?

Yes, the plug-in will work in a Citrix or Terminal Server Environment. Please follow FileMaker Pro's instructions for setting up a Terminal Services Environment. You must also ensure your printers are setup correctly as well. Although we have not tested it ourselves we do have clients that are using the plug-in in both environments.
