disappearing alarm notifications on iOS 10.2
« on: January 11, 2017, 10:57:12 AM »
I started with a calendar with some events that had alarms that were set to have no sound, but to use a custom vibration pattern instead. I wanted all events to behave that way. After using iCal manipulator to change all events in the calendar and change the alarms, the alarms in iOS on my phone all display the correct alarm times, my iOS setting for notifications is to use the vibration pattern. But now none of the alarms work at all. And when I create a new event, on my phone, not using iCal manipulator, and set it to have an alarm, it doesn't. I'm at a complete loss. iCal manipulator has not only messed up the events it is managing, it has messed up my ability to create usable events on my phone. Every other aspect of my iCal manipulator scripts is working perfectly. Any ideas? Also, wondering if you can set the name of the alarm sound to the name of a vibration pattern that exists on the phone, but not on the computer.
