Suddenly Change Printer (v 4.0.3) makes FileMaker clients crash. It can be reproduced on different serveres at different locations.

No problems for many years but suddenly today FileMaker (8.5 and 11) wont open - just crash-message:

The only solution is to disable network - then FMP will open. It seems that it is the license-server at Productive that has a problem! Hacked?
I just tried to log in to the licens-overview at Productive License-server and it shows no licenses!!! Last time I looked there, it showed all the licenses. This tells me that the server has a problem!!

Please tell us what to do. when will it be up and running again? We have +100 people not being able to work at 2 locations because of missing labels and prints.

Rest assured, we were not hacked. The Registration Server was updated last night which caused a few unforeseen issues, but those have since been resolved. We apologize for any inconveniences this may have caused. Your licenses should be back up on your account.

You will need to clear our the plug-in registration certificate to get FileMaker working again.
To clear the plug-in registration certificate, do these steps:

1)   Exit your FileMaker application
2)   Go to: C:\Users\<< your user name>>\AppData\Local\PCINC
3)   Delete any folders listed in this location.
4)   Open the demo file and try registering the plug-in

If you need further assistance, please let us know.

Thanks for your fast reply Francis.
Yes, removing the folder and re-register the plugin helped.

For older versions of Windows Server:

For Win Server 2003 users the folder can be found here:

C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Application Data\PCINC\
C:\Documents and Settings\<your username>\Local Settings\Application Data\PCINC\
