DueDays in Term creation?

(1/1)

pjreagan:
My old mechanism to create a Term in QuickBooks Online no longer seems to work.  Here's the code that shows the problem when attempting to create the term "15 days"...

    PCQO_RqNew("Create"; "Term") & ", " &
    PCQO_RqAddFieldWithValue("Name"; "15 days") & ", " &
    PCQO_RqAddFieldWithValue("DueDays"; "15") & "" &
    PCQO_SGetStatus & "" &
    PCQO_SGetXML("Request") & "" &
    PCQO_SGetXML("Response")

Here's the error...
    0, 0, !!ERROR!!

    Error setting the field data
    CODE: -990
    SEVERITY: Exception
    MESSAGE: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
    SOURCE: FMBooksOnline.fmx

    <?xml version="1.0"?>
    <Term xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns="http://schema.intuit.com/finance/v3">
       <Name>15 days</Name>
    </Term>

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-16"?>
    <exception>
    <message>ValidationException was thrown.</message>
    <source /><innerException>
        <message>Required param missing, need to supply the required value for the API</message>
    <source /></innerException>
    </exception>

So the mechanism doesn't seem to like the DueDays value even through it is an integer as required per the ESR.  What's weird is that the query request string seems to be ignoring the DueDays value entirely.  What am I doing wrong here?  Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Patrick

Paul Dacanay:
"DueDays" is an element that is difficult for the plugin to reach. The ESR has everything listed, however, the actual implementation is not an easy task with the SDK available to us. So, the plug-in will need to be updated accordingly. We plan to update the plug-in to work with "DueDays", but there is no time line in place as to if/when this will happen.
