EM shared calendars
« on: February 11, 2015, 07:30:29 AM »
Hi,

We're testing the use of EM in our organisation.
Specifically the use of adding calendar items via Filemaker.

I can add appointments via Filemaker if i've got full mailbox rights.
But i don't want everyone to be able to view my mailbox, so I've only shared my Calendar with my co-workers and visa versa (Seen in screenshot under shared calendars)
Is there a way EM can schedule appointments to a shared calendar instead of a shared mailbox?? (In the screenshot shown as Beheer, and Administrator)

Kind regards,
Erik

Erik,

To schedule appointments to a shared calendar, do these steps:

1) Open the specific shared folder: PCEM_OpenSharedFolder ( ContactName; 9 )

2) Create the record (calendar event): PCEM_NewRecord( "Calendar" )

3) Set the event values (Date, Time, Subject, etc.)

4) Save the record (calendar event)

Important note: Access permissions to the folder are created by the owner of the folder and the plug-in has the same access permissions as the current user.

For more details on the plug-in functions, see these links:

Thanks for using our plug-in, and have a nice day!
