Invoice Line Items LOOP Trouble
« on: July 02, 2014, 03:09:38 PM »
Something not right with my loop to push all InvoiceLineItems into QB from a single invoice.
It now pushes only one portal item and no other items.
and can't get it to push the first item, keeps sending the last item - script set to first.
Please Help!

If you are going to related records for the line items, there shouldn't be a need to do a "Go To Portal Row". Your loop starts at the last record then exits after last. You should be going to the First Record rather than the last and looping through the found set until the end of the found set then returning back to the main table.

Jerel,

Thank You - that was the problem.

One more fix yet if you can help:
Invoice line item portal in "main" push tab never matches line items portal in my invoice file.
Correct data is being pushed to QB, just not showing correct line items in the tab "push" portal.
It shows all the line items for the client instead of just for the particular invoice number.

Since the data is correct in QuickBooks, the issue sounds like it's a schema/display issue in filemaker. Check to see if your filtering or relationships are displaying what you want. If you need assistance with this, feel free to contact us directly at (760) 510-1200.
