Develop Books Connector in my offce for client office?

Develop for Client:
Can I develop FM and Books Connector on my own office computer then transfer over to client server computer in their office?

Do I need copy of client’s QB files or can I use my own licensed QB version to develop the set up?

I do nearly all my development on my computer, often using one of the QB sample files. You'll need to watch out for references to ListID and TxnID values, which will not be the same if you try to recreate an Item, Customer, Invoice, etc. on a different computer. Also, paths may be different if you have occasion to reference files outside FMP.

Your development efforts can be transferred to another computer by moving the files or copy/paste of the scripts or script steps.

Note that FMBooks Connector is not compatible with server-side script execution. Not sure if that's what you were asking in your first question.

Regarding first question - “client server”
 :-[ Oh No - I hope that’s not true.

FileMaker FILES will be set up on the server with FM Server.
QB and FMBooks Connector will be on a station computer.
Does this work?
