Pushing Timecards to QB
« on: March 14, 2014, 01:54:40 PM »
I'm needing a script to send timecards over to QB for payroll.  I'm sure I'm not the first one.  My brain is fried.  Does anyone have a script that I can rework?

We use filemaker for our time clock.

I have the employee name and payrate in FM.  If we need a ListID we'll need to get that from QB.

Need to send
Regular Hours
Overtime Hours
Sick Hours
Vacation Hours
and Bonus Dollar Amount
and whatever else (pay period, etc) to process a paycheck.

I'd be willing to pay any freelancers interested for something commented well that I can incorporate into our current database.
Thanks,
Chris

You will need the ListID for each employee. Setting up time tracking is a bit tricky from the FMP side and requires an Add Request for each type of time you're tracking. You mention Bonus Dollar Amount, which is not (to the best of my knowledge) something you can pass to QB via the API. There may be a way of working around that, but I've never looked into it.
