File path syntax for cross-platform file access
« on: July 25, 2013, 11:45:10 AM »
Does File Manipulator support a file path syntax that will work for accessing shared files on a network drive from both Windows and Macs? Or do we have to vary the file path string depending on the architecture of the client machine?

File and folder path syntax is dependent on the architecture of the client machine.

The network file or folder path syntax is formatted as follows:
Mac: Network paths take the form of /Volumes/ServerName/path
Windows: Network paths take the form of \\ServerName\path
