Title: Batch Import Functionality

Our initial batch import was completed (not by me).

As a remote user I'm attempting to do batches of new company/contact record imports and I'm getting unexpected results.
But before I go any further with the results...

Is there a difference in functionality and field mapping options while performing a batch import logged in as a remote user vs. being logged in as admin ?

There is no restriction on the batch import as to only having the admin do it. You can add a script step to prevent others from performing the action if needed.
